Out of MGM's classic cartoons of the 1940s, in all of her three-dimensional curvaceousness, comes one of animation's most recognizable sirens, Red Hot Riding Hood! As a sexy cabaret singer, her rendition of Hey, Daddy drove the Wolf and Droopy wild, eliciting from them unforgettable sight gags. Sculptor Kent Melton, animation's top sculptor, has captured Red's flirtatious, seductive essence just as she appeared in her debut performance. A limited edition of 750 cold-cast porcelain sculptures, 9" in height on a 4 1/2" diameter base, have been produced from Melton's original work. Each piece is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and Kent Melton's signature is carved in the base. Red Hot is only the first in a series of sculptures created from these memorable MGM screwball cartoons.
