Archie first appeared in Pep Comics #22 in 1941, followed closely by his own comic-- book series. 2011 marks the seventieth anniversary of Archie.

The final character in our series is Riverdale's resident rapscallion, Reggie Mantle. Working his snarky way toward a degree in lounge lizardom, forever competing with Archie for the girls, Reggie is a central figure in the timeless tale of teenage life that is Archie.
