Gentle Giant Studios has set a new standard for sculpted mini-busts. They have rocked us with a series of sculptures of characters from The Matrix. One of the best characters to emerge in the final films is Niobe, portrayed by the fabulous Jada Pinkett Smith, who posed for this piece in a three-dimensional computer scanning session with Gentle Giant. Using this data, their artisans refined the structure through traditional sculpting and painting to arrive at something quite special.

Just as her exciting performance redefines the female action heroine, Gentle Giant’s craftsmanship redefines the level of realism for this kind of collectible. The bust will be packaged in deluxe special packaging, and will be a numbered, limited-edition. Exact edition size has not been finally determined by Gentle Giant as of press time.
