Dark Horse debuted ZombieWorld late last year with a maiden offering from Hellboy great Mike Mignola and Grendel's Pat McEown, and now that original three issue series is being offered in one complete trade paperback: ZombieWorld: Champion of the Worms.

Champion of the Worms is the story of a small-town museum plagued by odd disturbances, missing mummies, and wandering corpses. A tag-team of paranormal researchers soon discover the presence of Azzul Gotha -- a legendary 42,000- year-old

Hyperborean mummy. Gotha's quite a stinky bastard to deal with on his own, but he's also a "gatekeeper" of sorts and a harbinger of even more trouble to come if he's not stopped. It's a pulp-inspired horror tale replete with monster mayhem, human sacrifice, and flesh-eating zombies, and it's as fun as it is frightening.

"I would like to take full creditfor ZombieWorld: Champion of the Worms," said Mignola, "but the truth of the matter is that Pat McEown deserves most of the credit -- he did amazing things with what I gave him."

ZombieWorld: Champion of the Worms is being offered as an 80-page, full-color trade paperback starting July 15 for a retail price of $8.95.
