The greatest heroes who never existed are making the leap from Dark Horse Presents to their very own miniseries, in a four-issue continuation of the hit three-part Nevermen series showcased in DHP #148-150.

One of the Nevermen is missing, and he's the only one with the information necessary to begin unraveling an insidious plot concocted by the criminal underworld of a slowly rotting city. Time is running out, and the remaining Nevermen are going to need help if they expect to find their missing compatriot and put an end to the dark reign of organized crime. Against a vast underworld of murderous criminals like the dreaded, zombie-esque Manboulian and the disembodied head, Cadaver, the Nevermen find themselves with only one person to turn to for help -- freelance vigilante The Murderist!

"In a nutshell, The Nevermen is The Matrix meets L.A. Confidential," explained writer Phil Amara (Aliens, Burglar Girls, Sky Ape). "They're the only heroes in a 1930s-style city filled to the brim with weird crime bosses, thieves, thugs...and butler chimps! The Nevermen are the thin, ragged line between justice and chaos -- resourceful, unwavering, and fearless in the face of evil. They mostly rely on their fists as a convincer, but they're also equipped with a startling array of 'steampunk' gadgets and gizmos."

Don't be left out of The Nevermen experience, coming to a head (albeit an evil, disembodied one!) May 3, with the start of an exciting, four-issue miniseries. Written by action master Phil Amara, with artistic honors from Guy Davis (Sandman Mystery Theatre, The Blair Witch Project), The Nevermen mixes a bizarre cast of characters with a heady dose of intrigue, all brought to life in 32 full-color pages and available for $2.95. You've never seen a comic book like this.
