Dark Horse continues the adventures of Tarzan with Tarzan vs. the Moon Men, a new story arc beginning in December. This four-issue series returns Tarzan to the jungles of Africa and his friends, the Waziri. Tarzan's latest challenge comes from the future, where marauding invaders from the Earth's moon threaten to conquer the Earth.

"What an incredible opportunity," mused editor Peet Janes. "Edgar Rice Burroughs painted a harrowing vision of the future in his Moon Men stories, which feature the generations-long struggle between two Earthmen, one destined to be the Earth's savior, and the other, her conqueror. When Tarzan is added to the mix, the results are explosive."

When a stranger with a familiar face arrives at Tarzan's African estate, Tarzan learns that the man is from the future, and has traveled to the past to retain Tarzan's aid. Tarzan and his son, Korak, must follow the strange man into the cave of Nu, which takes them into the Earth of the 24th century, where Africa is about to fall to the dog-like, human-flesh-eating warrior Vagas from the moon!

Tarzan vs. the Moon Men is written by Tim Truman (The Kents, Jonah Hex), penciled by Thomas Yeates (The Return of Tarzan), inked by Al Williamson (Classic Star Wars), colored by Sam Parsons, with covers by John Totleben (Swamp Thing).

"I am amazed and pleased with the talent lineup on this project," said Janes. "If any of these guys hadn't already worked together, then it was only a matter of time. Expect some quality fireworks!"

Tarzan vs. the Moon Men #1 goes on sale December 3, for $2.95.
