It's October, and that means it's a great time to tell you all about a bunch of spooky products that are on the horizon.

We have fallen in love with Roman Dirge's cute little dead girl, and are exhuming her in a definitive series of figures. Although you won't actually see them until Valentine's Day next year, we thought that Halloween was a good time to let you know they are coming.

We are speaking of the definitive 8" vinyl figure of Lenore. Creator Roman Dirge has proclaimed it his favorite Lenore figure ever! He was so thrilled that he even created all-new original art for the packaging. Thanks, Roman.

If you haven't read the dark adventures of this young lady, we refer you to the best-selling comics and graphic novels published by our pals at SLG. Go to their web site at: www.slgcomic.com and search for "Lenore." Tell 'em Dark Horse sent you.

For our part, we also are preparing a second Lenore boxed set of pvc figures to be released in conjunction with the large vinyl. These items join our currently-available Lenore PVC Set #1, journal, stationery and Zippo® lighter. All are officially licensed from the estimable Mr. Dirge.

You can place advance orders with your favorite retailer via Diamond Comic Distributors, or pre-order online at: tfaw.com.

Stay spooky and beware the "dark muffins."

Also "under the radar" is a new statue of one of the comic book arena's most macabre master of ceremonies- Uncle Creepy. Watch for this new piece in an upcoming issue of Diamond's Previews magazine.

And just to round out your jolly October, take a trip to hell. When you get there, you'll be greeted by none other than Hell's Proprietor brainchild of top modern artist Glenn Barr.

This ambitious and huge (11") vinyl figure is available November in two editions, brown (only 1,000 copies produced) and blue (only 500 copies produced). It joins our Chinese "Qee" version of Mike Mignola's Hellboy in our new program of limited-edition designer art toys.

This exciting genre is one of the most exciting new areas of collecting, and our entrance to the field is just right for the spooky season!
