Spike and Drusilla aren't exactly jetsetters in Sunnydale, but they've certainly got a taste for rich blood, and now the fan-favorite vamps from Buffy the Vampire Slayer have a starring role in their very own comic, co-written by James Marsters (Spike from the hit TV series).

At the end of last season, Spike and Dru were having a rough time with things as all hell literally broke loose in Sunnydale. So they hit the road in hopes of recovering and mending their wounded relationship. But when they wind up in Eastern Europe, Drusilla meets a seductive new friend who promises to fulfill all her dreams of achieving ultimate power. And Spike? -- well, he's so busy enjoying himself, he might miss his chance to intervene in Drusilla's power play before it goes too far.

"When I was on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I first met James Marsters, he told me he was into comics, and interested in writing," said Christopher Golden, co-writer of Spike and Dru. "Right off, I knew what we had to do -- get together with Spike and Drusilla and `paint the town red!' It's nice to see the Sid and Nancy of vampires on their own for once . . . and it's a little scary, too."
