When Dark Horse released the first part of the Star Wars: Dark Forces graphic story album series last year, fans and critics alike were enamored with the unique look and trend-setting format of Star Wars: Dark Forces -- Soldier for the Empire. Now Dark Horse is readying to present the second installation of this three-part series.

Star Wars: Dark Forces -- Rebel Agent tells the story of Kyle Katarn, an Imperial-trained soldier on the verge of uncovering the secrets of the mysterious Valley of the Jedi, first discovered by his own father years before. Along with the other secrets the Valley holds is an enormous energy source, ready to be released -- or harnessed -- by whoever braves the Valley. Will Katarn uncover the Valley secrets first, or will the challenge of the Dark Jedi Jerec be more than Katarn can handle?

"Back before I had written the first of my twenty science-fiction novels, I tracked the first Star Wars movie as it was being made and was among the first people in Dallas to see it," says William C. Dietz, author of the Dark Forces series. "That's when I fell in love with the universe and the characters. So when I was given the chance to write three novellas, including Dark Forces -- Rebel Agent, I jumped all over it! Then, to make a fabulous deal even better, I got to work with some of the best artists in the business. Writing doesn't get any better than this."

This amazing 128-page graphic story album includes 25 full-page paintings by award-winning artist Ezra Tucker. The beautiful, hard-cover novella hits comic book stores everywhere March 11, and retails for $24.95.
