Allred originally conceived of Red Rocket 7 as a multi-media event, combining some of his best-loved elements of pop-culture: comics, film, and music. Released in conjunction with the third issue of Red Rocket 7, the series' companion film Astroesque became the fourth-largest-selling comics-related video of last year, and by releasing the soundtrack to the series, Allred has completed the third dimension of the Red Rocket saga.
