In the summer of 1996, Dark Horse Comics will begin publishing a monthly comic-book omnibus debuting three new ongoing titles created by one of the most consistently brilliant creators of our time, Barry Windsor-Smith. BWS: Storyteller will present the monthly adventures of Windsor-Smith's new creations -- his very first creator-owned characters -- and will be written and drawn by Windsor-Smith, and produced by Windsor-Smith Studios.

Each month,BWS: Storyteller will feature new installments of all three new series, "The Freebooters," "Young Gods," and "The Paradoxman," in a new jumbo format consisting of forty 9" x 12-1/2" full-color pages. Each series will take a turn every three issues as the cover feature.

Fans of Windsor-Smith's work from any phase of his long and varied career are in for a treat. "The Freebooters" is set in the past, in a barbarian world sure to please old-time Conan fans. "Young Gods" is a humor-tinged tale of warfare between very human-like gods that Archer & Armstrong fans will love. And "The Paradoxman" is a solid, action-oriented, science-fiction tale of a time-traveler searching through all of history on his marvelous Time Bike for the woman he loves.

"BWS: Storyteller will include a lot of other attractions as well," said Windsor-Smith. "Readers will get some glimpses of what it looks like `backstage' at the studio. We'll feature production sketches as well as some of my own favorite and never-before-published art from my own personal files."

BWS: Storyteller , a monthly, oversized color comic book, will begin its run in the summer of 1996.
