Following the successful first set of Bettie-themed decorator coasters , which featured the model in a variety of saucy scenes, Dark Horse product specialists approached famous Bettie photographer Bunny Yeager with a request to use never-before-seen images of the cult favorite pin-up for its next line of merchandise. Yeager complied, producing for Dark Horse a line of hand-colored images of Bettie Page that have never been seen in print or on merchandise before. Wearing little else besides a bikini and a smile, Bettie is more charming than ever as she frolics through an amusement park, samples children's rides, and sits perched atop a pony.
Four of these images are featured on the second Bettie Page coaster set, debuting in May of 2002. The lacquered cork coasters are 1/4" thick, and each features a different full-color picture of Bettie Page. The set comes packaged in a custom box and retails for $12.99. Also coming in May from Dark Horse is the second Bettie Page embossed metal lunchbox and an all-cotton, full-sized beach towel. The lunchbox features these amusement part images of Bettie in a tiny yellow bikini on a full-sized, full-color, sturdy metal box for $19.99. The beach towel finds Bettie on a Florida beach, her image covering every inch of its 30" x 60", all-cotton surface.
Dark Horse is proud to produce top quality merchandise endorsed and officially licensed by Ms. Page.
