Hot on the heels of New Line Cinema's exciting new $70 million film Lost In Space comes the comic-book sequel from Dark Horse. Seasoned comics writer Brian McDonald and artist Gordon Purcell have crafted this sci-fi thriller further chronicling the adventures of the wayward Robinson family, major Don West, and their criminal stowaway Dr. Smith.

Still vagrant in space after all this time, the Jupiter 2 has registered serious damage from an asteroid field, and the crew needs to land and fix the damage before it becomes irreparable. Having a prisoner under such circumstances doesn't make things any easier -- especially when he stumbles across alien technology that puts him at a distinct advantage over his unsuspecting captors, and pits them against a bizarre lizard creature that plans to use the Jupiter 2 for his own vengeful mission.

"People expect Lost In Space to be a tad on the corny side," explains Brian McDonald, writer of the series. "The approach that the new movie and comic book takes is more serious. It's the Lost in Space you know and love -- but with a makeover."

Lost In Space is a three-part comic by Brian McDonald (Abe Sapien: Drums of the Dead) and Gordon Purcell (Star Trek), debuting April 15 from Dark Horse Comics. Each full-color issue features cover art by Gary Erskine (Star Wars, ZombieWorld) and retails for $2.95.
