Dark Horse continues to mercilessly reprint all of your favorite, classless, classic Groo adventures with the eleventh graphic novel in the too-long-running series: Groo: Kingdom, available February 28. Please blame this on Sergio Aragonés and Mark Evanier, creators of Groo. I'm only writing the press release. It's not my fault.

Our wandering barbarian Groo has faced danger from sharp objects in the past, but that's nothing compared to the battle axe he's about to meet. Her name is Grandma, and she's coming to stay with her grandson Groo for a few weeks. It doesn't take long to realize that some traits -- stupidity and destructive tendencies, for instance -- must run in the family. As if that's not enough inane humor for one Groo collection, we're including another ridiculous story featuring the wedding of Groo.

"I've begged Dark Horse to stop printing these books, but so far they haven't listened," said Evanier, attempting to distance himself from the epic body of work he's created with the talented Aragonés based on the stupidest character imaginable. "The least you can do is take my name off of the book!"

Aragonés, in response, had this to say, "Please make Mark's name the biggest on the book. I am fine with little, tiny letters. And please spell my name `S-T-A-N, L-E-E.'"

While we figure out who to blame for the continued publication of Groo, you can sit there and anxiously await the next volume of collected Groo comics. It's called Groo: The Groo Kingdom, it features 96 full-color pages of Aragones' hilarious art, and it'll be on sale for $9.95 in February.
