Long-time readers will remember Peter as the man who's in love with Elisa (a.k.a. Ghost) from afar. Comatose since he was shot trying to save her life way back in issue #14, Ghost resolves to follow Peter into the no man's land of unconsciousness to try to revive him, but finds herself trapped in an initially seductive, then terrifying, fantasy constructed by Peter's unconscious mind. In order to save both their souls from oblivion, Elisa must confront her own desires for a "normal life," as well as Peter's cruel dream-version of her own Ghost persona. Will she be able to repay the man who saved her life, and return them both to reality?
"Writer Eric Luke has done it again," said editor Randy Stradley. "Every time I think he may have lost the threads of a sub-plot somewhere along the line, he surprises me by suddenly weaving the thread back into the main story line and making the whole structure stronger."
Illustrated by Ghost alumni H.M. Baker and Bernard Kolle, issue #32 features another stunning photo cover by Imagemakers and Dave Stewart.
Ghost #32 is a full-color, 32-page, complete-in-one-issue story. It goes on sale December 10 at a retail price of $2.95.
