Roark is the new kid on the colony at Tirgu-Mires, and as a young, urban hipster, he has no idea what the other teenagers there do for fun. He soon finds his answer when he's challenged by the other kids to brave the dreaded, "haunted" cave that's believed to be home to a horrible ghost-monster known as the "Wraith." It's a perfect set-up for teenage titillation and all-out horror, with an ending nobody could ever expect.
"For a creatively restless guy like me, Aliens: Wraith was a blast to work on for a couple of reasons," commented Stephens from his studio in Toronto. "One, it's my first collaboration strictly as a writer, and two, it's my first published work on a licensed project."
Aliens: Wraith is a chilling one-shot written by Canadian funny guy Jay Stephens, with art by Eduardo Risso (Aliens: Resurrection), and cover art by Ronnie Del Carmen (Aliens: Mondo series). This spooky tale filled with black comedy, forbidden teen lust, and big, creepy monsters hits comic shops everywhere July 15, and retails for $2.95.
