Dark Horse proudly presents another great tale in the tradition of Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic adventure series Tarzan and Carson of Venus. Carson Napier has come a long way since he first set foot on the exotic world of Amtor (known as Venus to most common earthlings), but he still knows how to find his fair share of trouble. And now that he's also found Tarzan wandering around, lost on the big, cloudy planet, the two of them are in for quite an adventure.

Carson's exquisite lady-love Duare disappeared on her way to visit friends in Japal, and in the month since he hasn't heard a word of her whereabouts. With Tarzan at his side, the two set out to find Duare, and try to discover how Tarzan was suddenly uprooted from planet earth and transplanted onto Venus. Along the way, the two manly misadventurers find plenty to keep them busy, including battling the monstrous
Tongzans, and hitching a turtle-ride with a charitable Gerloogan.

"When I was a little boy in Croatia, I read lots of Tarzan translations," said artist Igor Kordey, "and they were beautifully illustrated by Croatian artists who are little known but had a big influence on me. I always wanted to draw Tarzan, and I started drawing him in the early eighties for European comics. Now I'm drawing him for Dark Horse and I couldn't be happier. He's sort of my destiny."

Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan: Carson of Venus is a four-issue series by Darko Macan and Igor Kordey. The first issue of this action-packed space serial rockets into comic book stores everywhere May 27 for $2.95.
