Dark Horse Comics is proud to bring AppleGeeks off of the web and into print. Drawn by Mohammad Haque and written by Ananth Panagariya, AppleGeeks soars to new levels of computer and pop-culture humor and is sure to bring out your inner nerd and make him (or her!) laugh out loud!

AppleGeeks has been online since 2003 and explores the world of four college students as they try to figure out what to do with the rest of their lives. Jayce, an introspective writer, and Hawk, an excitable artist and inventor, are best friends who have unofficially taken up residence in Alice and Gina’s apartment. Alice, a childhood friend of Jayce, is a sweet and thoughtful business major. Gina, the yang to Alice’s yin, is a hard-drinking, hard-smoking art major who rarely sleeps and spends her spare time modeling. When Hawk, who is an inventor above all things (including school), gets fed up with constantly striking out with women and sets up a basement laboratory at Alice and Gina’s place so he can create the perfect girlfriend, passing classes suddenly becomes the least of the foursome’s worries. If Hawk’s project is a success, will his creation be content to be the perfect girlfriend, or will she have dreams of her own?

AppleGeeks was a pet project of ours that began in 2003, back when we were still in college and sitting in the back of class jotting down thumbnails and dialogue,” stated the writer Ananth Panagariya. “From then until now (and on through the future), we've always aimed to entertain, and it's with pleasure and excitement that I get to say that Dark Horse is helping us take it from those humble beginnings in class and on the web straight into your hands -- you, the reader, who have made all of this possible since day one.”

AppleGeeks Volume 1 will include creator commentary, a pinup gallery, and lots of other bonus material. All 184 pages will be printed in full color and will go on sale in June 2009 for just $14.95.
