We're proud to announce that Dark Horse Comics took 8.5 awards home during the Eisner Awards held at the San Diego Comic-Con International on August 13, 1999. Dark Horse was second to DC's 11 Eisner wins, but it's still impressive considering the fact that DC publishes at least three times as many books and they were also nominated for more awards.

Dark Horse won awards in some of the top categories such as Best Short Story, Best Serialized Story, Best Writer/Artist, and Best Limited Series.

Dark Horse is proud to be recognized as one of the leading comic book publishers in the industry, and would like to extend congratulations to all of the talented individuals who won and were nominated in the 1999 Eisner awards!
