There's cadaver snatching afoot in Gotham, and Batgirl's pursuit of the thieves leads her straight to Arcadia -- Ghost territory. In Ghost/Batgirl, the new four-issue story arc from Dark Horse and DC, Batfans and Ghostfans alike will get more bang for their buck when comics' hottest heroes team up for some undead supersleuthing.

When the dead body of an acquaintance disappears from a Gotham crime scene, Batgirl feels compelled to solve the mystery of who took the corpse and why. Her search leads her to Arcadia and Ghost, who is involved in a parallel search. The two heroes find themselves sniffing around the same two suspects: Arcadia's Malcolm Greymater and Gotham's Two-Face. Uncovering the identity of the sick body-snatcher may not be as difficult as the crime-fighting women first thought because, in this case, re-animated dead informants may prove just as useful as live ones!

Writer Mike Kennedy (Ghost, Dark Horse Presents) lends his special talent to the series: "Two of the most dynamic female comic-book characters are brought together with their vastly divergent views on heroism and mortality. And who better to tackle such shadowy subjects than a gun-toting ghost and a teenaged assassin? This is such a perfect pairing, it practically writes itself."

Ryan Benjamin, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame, provides the fantastic interior and cover art for this badgirl extravaganza. Ghost/Batgirl #1 is 32 pages of full-color, superheroine action, on sale August 30 for $2.95.
