Painter/penciller Bob Eggleton, who has done cover art for such Dark Horse titles as Godzilla, Species: Human Race, and Outlanders, recently received his second Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist in science fiction at this year's World Con. Eggleton won his first Hugo Award in 1994.

The judging for the award is based on an artist's entire body of work over the year. For Eggleton, this includes his comics work as well as his art for posters, calendars, and book covers. Hugo Award winners are voted on each year by the attending members of the World Science Fiction Society at the World Con.

Eggleton's dramatic and textured paintings have graced the covers of Godzilla issues 9-13, and he wrote and pencilled Godzilla #16, which is on sale now. Eggleton is also painting covers for the new Species: Human Race series, the first issue of which ships November 22.
