The terror starts with Angel #15, when a vigilante demon hunter brings her sport to Los Angeles. Normally this is the sort of citizens patrol that would make Angel proud of his neighbors, but the huntress isn't exactly on his side -- a fact that's made perfectly clear once Angel learns she's been killing the minions of powerful demons, and telling everyone that he is giving the orders. Now every demon, ghoul, and monster in the greater Los Angeles area is out for Angel's blood, and they're doing a pretty good job of getting to it. Back in Sunnydale, word has gotten out that LA's uglies are on the rampage, and with Wesley and Cordelia both in the hospital recovering from a brutal attack, Buffy knows that she might be Angel's only hope to get out of this mess in one piece. Who's responsible for framing Angel, and what can they possibly have against a 200 year-old reformed vampire? Find out in "Past Lives."
