Dark Horse Comics continues to build its library of best-selling Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel graphic novels and trade paperbacks with its third Angel collection, Angel: Earthly Possessions.

Mention the word "Exorcist" and most people think 12 year-old girls and pea soup. But Angel isn't most people. He knows -- better than anyone -- the dark truth behind Hollywood's favorite nightmares, and exorcism is no exception. Now a rash of apparent demonic possessions is affecting the wealthy and beautiful stars of Tinseltown, and a mysterious former priest seems to be the only hope for the afflicted. Angel has seen Father Noe's work up close, and while it gets the job done, there's something that's just not right about this excommunicated hero's handiwork. Angel, Doyle, and Cordelia team up to get to the bottom of the exorcist's story in this terrifying tale of unholy possession and ultimate sacrifice.

"This one was real controversial, because we needed to come up with a way of dealing with the death of a major character," said editor Scott Allie. "Fans have said we dealt with it with respect and style, but mostly they've begged us to keep him alive. It's not every day a major character on a TV series gets offed, but (writers) Golden and Sniegoski did a fantastic job of making it more than just a shocking plot twist."

Buffy novelist and famed comics writer Christopher Golden teams up with Sniegoski and artists Christian Zanier and Andy Owens on the new trade paperback collection Angel: Earthly Possessions. This full-color, 80-page collection retails for $9.95 and will be on sale starting April 18.
