Renowned writer Jan Strnad, and artists Anthony Winn and Robert Jones team up this December to bring the first new ongoing Star Wars title to eager fans awaiting a look at the Star Wars universe a full generation before A New Hope!

On the distant planet Cerea, life has long been a peaceful study in self-reliance. Technology is all but forbidden to this primitive but vastly knowledgeable society, and for one resident, the Jedi Ki-Adi-Mundi, preserving this way of life is key to saving Cerea's future. Not everybody shares that view, however -- especially visitors from the Republic who are eager to negotiate a trade deal with the Cereans in hopes of gaining access to a powerful intoxicating plant which only grows on Cerea, and whose euphoric effects are heavily sought after in black-market circles throughout the galaxy. Can Ki-Adi-Mundi convince his fellow Cereans to ignore the bidding of the Republic's "diplomat" Bron, or will the lure of technology rend this once-peaceful planet, and set its children against their elders?

Editor Peet Janes said, "We're tremendously excited to have Jan Strnad writing this series. Not only is he well-versed in the Star Wars universe and the kind of tales that are best suited to the comics medium, but he's also a great writer in general. And matching him up with penciler Anthony Winn, whose recent projects include Wolverine and Alpha Flight, was a risky proposition that paid off dearly. This is going to be one fine project."

Don't miss the exciting new ongoing Star Wars series from Dark Horse Comics. The first full-color, 32-page issue hits comics shops everywhere December 2, and retails for $2.50.
