Hello, loyal Dark Horse fans!
As many of you are no doubt aware, we’re relaunching the mighty Dark Horse Presents next month. We’ve been running previews and pieces in a lot of comics-news outlets and featuring some of the work here on the blog, but for those of you still not quite in the know, here’s the scoop!
—Dark Horse Presents will relaunch with a new #1 on April 20, 2011.
—Each issue will be released bimonthly at $7.99.
—Each issue will be full color and eighty pages long, and will feature no ads!
As we celebrate our silver anniversary, we want you, the fans, to be a part of it. Dark Horse Presents was responsible for shaping much of the independent spirit that drives Dark Horse to this day. It serves as a place for established creators to flex their creative muscles with short, creator-owned work, as well as a stage and proving ground for hungry new talent.
DHP is a book that’s very close to a lot of our hearts, and the relaunch is something we’ve all been working very hard on for some time. It was an honor to be invited to help Mike Richardson with it, and as someone who’s seen the creators we have lined up, I can tell you this book is going to pack a serious wallop.
For now, here are a few preview images. We’ll see you in April!
