The high-voltage noir manga will soon be available in two oversized hardcover volumes!
Dark Horse Manga can now reveal that the next manga series to receive the Deluxe Edition oversized (7x10”) hardcover treatment will be Oldboy, by the legendary duo of writer Garon Tsuchiya (Astral Project, Reverse Edge: Okawabata Tanteisha) and artist Nobuaki Minegishi (Aburemon, Hoozuki). The intense, bare-knuckle manga will be collected into new volumes, Oldboy Deluxe Edition: Book One and Book Two. Winner of the 2007 Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material, Oldboy is lettered by Michael David Thomas and Kathryn Renta, and translated by Kumar Sivasubramanian.
Oldboy Deluxe Edition: Book One collects the original volumes 1-4, and Oldboy Deluxe Edition: Book Two collects original volumes 5-8 of the mystery thriller, now packaged together in a sleek, deluxe hardcover format and features a new, noir-inspired cover made with metallic silver foil paper, and includes a ribbon bookmarker.
