"I have seen them all but the best memory I have is with Episode 1 because that is the night i met my future wife to be. It all started when my little brother become friends with her little brother and started hanging out with one another. When Star Wars Episode 1 came out she decided to take her brother and my brother to see it. My brother informed her that I was a huge Star Wars fan and she called and asked If I wanted to tag alone. It being Star wars I said yes. We went to the Abingdon Cine mall Theater (rated number one theater in America to see The Phantom Menace). We sat together and talked before the movie started, we found out we had a lot of the same interest. We started dating and even went back 2 to 3 more times to see Episode 1. Eight months later we were married and have been for 11 years. We have enjoyed seeing Episodes 2 and 3, buying the DVD collection and my adding to my extensive Star Wars collection, we even named our two cats Chewy and Lucas. I would have not met the love of my life with out the help of George Lucas."

"June 24, 1977. A month after release, all my friends had seen Star Wars, but I hadn't yet. So for my birthday, all I wanted was to see that movie. The day was overcast and a little drizzly, but my sisters and I stood in line. Once inside I bought the movie program and a newspaper/magazine they were selling and we looked at them until the lights went down. Then those magic words appeared: "A Long, Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away" I fell in love with that universe and saw Star Wars on the big screen as often as I could before they finally pulled it. I still love that universe, and pass that love along to my daughter. She is going to be a geek princess."
Max Romero:
"I was seven years old when "Star Wars - Episode IV" was released, and I remember sitting in the theater with my family when the lights went down and those thrilling first notes of the theme began. From the start, I was thrilled and pulled deep, deep into the movie. From that moment on, I was a fan, and watching it the first time was immediately followed by the second - we kept out seats (you could still do that, then) and watched it again. I was so excited I couldn't stop smiling, or talking about it. I guess I still can't.Max Romero:
The rest of that summer was defined by the number of days until I could see the movie again. My dad, who himself had fond memories of watching serials and pulp sci-fi at the theater, indulged me. He took me to see "Star Wars" over and over, and never seemed to lose his own enthusiasm. By the time school started up three months later, I had seen the movie 13 or 14 times.
When "Phantom Menace" came out years later, I wasn't sure I would make it to opening day. My dad, suddenly and unexpectedly, had died two days before. It didn't feel right, and I told my mom so. She clicked her tongue and told me, "Well, your dad wouldn't want you to miss it - he'd want you to go. Don't you think?" And she was right. It wasn't the same as seeing "Star Wars" in '77, but in way it's as much a memory of my dad as it had been then.
And I still get a thrill when that theme music begins.
