In celebration of yesterday’s announcement of Mass Effect: Invasion, we made our digital Mass Effect comics free for twenty-four hours. The enthusiasm for the new series was overwhelming. So overwhelming, in fact, that the demand for our digital comics created incredible spikes in traffic on our website and flooded our servers, causing a delay in response time.
We’re excited about the new Mass Effect: Invasion comics coming out in October. We’re sorry for those who experienced difficulties downloading the comics. We’re proud of our digital program and are committed to being the best in the business. Even now our technical-support team are taking additional measures to ensure that we’re improving our server capacity and are able to fulfill all requests. We’ve got big digital-comics events planned for Mass Effect in the future and we’re working hard to make sure everyone will have a great experience.
