This week, we're getting everything ready for Sakura-Con in Seattle, so we don't have much time to write ^_^ but we hope you'll come see us at the con this Friday, Saturday and Sunday! The Dark Horse booth is located at 324/326 in the dealer's room, near our friends at Aniplex! The dealer's room is also known as the Exhibitor's Hall, although that term always sounds a bit too grand for me—I feel like in an "Exhibitor's Hall," you shouldn't be selling manga, but instead wearing a top hat and monocle while extolling the virtues of your ironclad steam dreadnought.
We definitely will be selling manga 8D, as well as Japanese art books, novels, and other things, but we're also giving away a lot of free items at our booth, including buttons and posters based off our manga titles, plus a new version of the Dark Horse lanyard! Plus, there's the Dark Horse Manga panel, Saturday at 3 PM in Panels 3 (4C-3), at which we will be announcing new titles, answering your questions, and giving away door prizes.
Just to put a little extra "service, service" into it (as Misato Katsuragi would say) check out the special bonus panel "Aoki Uru: GAINAX's Lost Project, Found" on Sunday morning at 10 or 11 AM. It's been put on the schedule just today, so please check Sakura-Con's Guidebook or PDF schedule as we get closer to the con for the exact time and location. See you all there!
