Many thanks and high fives to everyone who entered the Hellboy in Hell Artifact contest! Because of the overwhelming response from so many incredibly talented artists and creators, we couldn't help but add two more runner-up spots to the winners circle!

So without further ado, Mike Mignola's hand selected winners:

GRANDPRIZE WINNER: Amber Reeves

"I chose the Black Goddess/Twin Serpents pendant. I sculpted this by hand out of polymer clay, added a faux verdigris effect with acrylic paint, and hung on a deer leather cord."

RUNNER-UP: Nele Z

"The spoon of the troll witch. I tried to put this entry in a little more context for the universe and crafted some additional things around the actual item: an archive box, b.p.r.d. wax paper, several labels and the flowers Hellboy got from the troll witch."

RUNNER-UP: Eric Quick

"A symbol of the Chutt- a legendary tribe of warriors and madmen."

RUNNER-UP: Anna Pieruccini

"This was based on the short story “The Troll Witch.” I recreated the * beautiful daughter* mummified head – which is presented towards the end of the story.  Materials use: old skull mask, tissue paper to create the mummified skin, yarn (for the hair), hair wax, acrylic paintings, and real flowers."

RUNNER-UP: Alice

"Vasilisa's lantern - I mix it with the style of the older russian orthodox processon lantern, tipically of russian tradition and tales. I did it by making a plaster an iron web mold, and afterbeating with a hammer sheets of copper on it, and light burn them to be gold, burny and old, and at last had decored all with vintage bijoux and other recycled stuff I found around."
