Reviews and Quotes Galore!

We kick off with a couple reviews of Conan: Island of No Return #1 on Player Affinity & Comic Book Bin! Not to mention a killer review of Empowered Special #2 on C.H.U.D.!

Comic Attack on B.P.R.D. Dead Remembered #3… "It has some great visuals, and a lot of that can be credited to the colorist, Dave Stewart. His choice of palette is great and makes the characters really stand out."

Fangoria on B.P.R.D. Dead Remembered #3... "You are absolutely going to enjoy reading Liz’s path of self-discovery as she goes from teenage prisoner to superhero."

Comic Attack on Robert E. Howard's Savage Sword #2…"This book has it all, not just for fans of fantasy, but action/adventure, horror, and mystery to top it off!"

Fangoria on Hellboy: The Fury #1…"HELLBOY: THE FURY #1 is full of monster mayhem. War is brewing, and this will be an epic battle that’s nothing like Hellboy has ever faced."

And perhaps most importantly…Weekly Crisis on Supersized.

"This is a small book, just under 90 pages, but it’s an informative and engaging read. Possibly not for the weak of stomach, this book will confront you with things you might not want to hear. It will be people who eat fast food who will not want to read this book but it is that group who must read this book. Any way that we can undercut their unhealthy ways is a good idea. Buy this book for a friend, or a waiting room table, and watch people slowly educate themselves. This isn’t just entertainment, it’s a catalogue of the things we all should know but don’t want to ask about."

Thanks for stopping by to kick off your week with "Dark Horse in the Headlines." We'll see you next week. Same time, same channel. \m/
