VP of Marketing, Matt Parkinson shares his most memorable moments from Horror movies:

"These are not so much my absolute top 5 favorite horror movies of all time, but some of my favorite images/sequences over the years.

1. My first introduction to horror was Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3-D. I was only a couple years old when I first saw this movie with my father, but this scene (among others) scared the hell out of me.

2. There are so many great moments in Psycho… I always found the dissolve of the skull over Norman Bates' face in the movie to be disturbing.

3. The final bizarre moments of Sleepaway Camp:

4. The transformation of David into a werewolf in American Werewolf in London:

5. Serious suspense: The hospital corridor sequence from Exorcist 3:

Halloween (1978) and Halloween 2 (1981): They take place on the same night, so... counting them as one, super awesome horror movie!

The Innocents (1961): You think you've seen scary kids, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

Lifeforce (1985): Not a great horror flick, but I saw it for the first time when I was younger and it gave me nightmares for years. Literally. (For similar "gave Jim nightmares but isn't actually scary, please see The Stuff.)

Evil Dead (1981): A true classic!

The Strangers (2008) and The Descent (2005): Both movies spooked me so bad—that "I'm an adult but I want to sleep with the lights on" type of scared—that I've never watched'em again.
