A second printing is on the way for the critically acclaimed murder mystery series!

On March 4, Matt Kindt (BRZRKR, Mind MGMT) and Margie Kraft Kindt’s murder mystery comic series Gilt Frame was released in a collected hardcover volume to rave reviews. Now, due to high demand, Dark Horse has issued a second printing of the graphic novel, which is headed to bookstores and comic shops now. Readers and retailers are advised to order now–don’t let this book give you the slip!

A classic whodunit story that traverses the globe from Paris to Hawaii to Montenegro, Gilt Frame features an unlikely pair of sleuths: Sam, an orphan in his early twenties, and his well-off Aunt Merry, who has an eccentric taste for antiques, travel, and solving crimes.

Sam was adopted by his aunt years ago, and together, they have solved some of the most notorious murders in the world. Now, their latest Parisian adventure is cut short when they stumble upon a murder scene so bizarre that only a raging psychopath could have produced it. To solve this crime, Sam and Merry will have to wrestle with jewel thieves, art forgers, gun-runners, the century-old ghost of the woman in black, a lost puppy, and a master French detective who just might solve the crime before they do.

Here’s what critics are saying about Gilt Frame:

“…is an entertainingly artful whodunit.”—Booklist, starred review

“…a delightful and diverting mystery that will keep readers guessing all the way to the end.”—Publishers Weekly, starred review

“An unconventional marriage of fascinating character dynamics, cozy storytelling, and menacing atmosphere makes this memorably quirky collaboration a success.”—Library Journal

“It’s fresh and unique, and the main characters are some of the most relatable you’ll read…”—Comicbook.com

“This is one of the best Kindt offerings in some time, and a powerful exploration of family, history, and art.”—AIPT Comics

“Whether you pick up Gilt Frame in single issues or the trade, do not miss this killer mystery. And here’s hoping the Kindt duo has a sequel in them because there’s plenty more that could be done with this great duo… Both the creative team and the mystery solvers in the series.”—Comic Book Club Live

Gilt Frame is a 216-page hardcover available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indigo, and your local comic shop and bookstore for $29.99.
