"Politically aware, socially conscious, and highly motivated, Wood has long maintained his activist streak through comics like DMZ, Local, and The Massive. Can't Stop the Serenity 2012

We're proud to be one of the sponsors of the  7th Annual "Can't Stop the Serenity" Worldwide Events for Equality Now.  As Scott Allie, editor on our Whedonverse comics and graphic novels (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity, Dollhouse) stated:

"We've always loved the fact that Can't Stop the Serenity started here in Portland, the same as Dark Horse. We deal with a lot of different kinds of fandom in comics, and it's amazing when this silly fantasy stuff that we all love so much can generate real good in the world. What the Browncoats achieve with CSTS and all their charitable efforts is humbling and adds to our pride in contributing to the world Joss created." - Scott Allie

Angel & Faith #10

"If you aren't reading "Angel & Faith" but were a fan of the "Buffyverse" over the years, this is the perfect introduction to the comic series. It gives you everything you need to know about what came before, as well as where the book is going; more importantly, it gives you a wonderfully written and drawn issue. Licensed sequels in comic form can be a difficult creation, but Gage and Samnee make it look easy. Joss Whedon fans, you need this comic." - Comic Book Resources

"Things are revealed, action is wrought, and by the end of this incredibly humorous issue one thing is clear. Anything can happen next and said anything will most likely be trouble.  Again, incredibly funny issue. Prepare to laugh and enjoy!" - Three If By Space

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Transformation of J. H. O’Donnell

"Allie writes this book in a way that adds new meaning to the word creepy. If you thought “Pickens County Horror” was incredibly eerie, let’s just say a new champion has been crowned…I say anyone who loves, likes, or is interesting in the BPRD world has got to pick up this bone chilling book. “The Transformation of JH O’Donnell” is a tragic tale that represents what BPRD is all about." - Bloody Disgusting

"Artist Max Fiumara puts back the missing element of suspense in his illustrations. At first, the presentation of the monsters is slowly built-up as if Fiumara is holding back. Readers are going to be just anxiously waiting to find out who are the people underneath the black cloaks. Finally letting loose, Fiumara gives the kind of terrifying imagery that could have only come from the mind of H.P. Lovecraft." - Comic Book Resources

Mass Effect: Homeworlds #2

"Mass Effect: Homeworlds #2 is hands down a book for a hardcore Mass Effect fan. Everything in this book takes place before the events in the first game. Not saying that someone new to the world couldn’t enjoy it but it caters so much towards someone that knows that lore it might not be as rewarding. For me it was interesting to see a little more story added to my favorite Quarian." - Comic Bastards

"If you’re a fan of the “Mass Effect” series of games or if you’ve read any of the previous comic series, “Redemption”, “Invasion” or “Evolution” then you don’t want to miss out on “Homeworlds”." -Examiner.com

Star Wars: Blood Ties—Boba Fett is Dead #2

"The graphics continue to be really great in the series.  There is a slightly cartoony style to them, but things like faces and weapons have a lot of great detail when it fits the story.  I’m really looking forward to seeing where they take the series in the second half of its run.  It looks to be leading up to some good battles as Boba tries to solve the mystery of who had him killed." - VG Revolution

"I'm loving this mini-series. It's been my first dive into Star Wars comics, and I couldn't think of a better way to dive right in…Overall, I love this book, and you should do yourself a favor and pick this one up. I highly recommend Star Wars: Blood Ties- Boba Fett is Dead #2." - Comic Vine
