THE WEEK IN REVIEW

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth #115

"B.P.R.D. deserves your time and money. If you've ever fantasized about fighting monsters, there's no reason to not pick this thing up." - Comic Bastards

"This is the first in a five issue arc and the busiest team in comics have deftly started another chapter. Here we are after 20 years of Hellboy and what better way to celebrate this milestone than with an apocalypse." - Big Comic Page

Clown Fatale #3

"Clown Fatale #3 is yet another entertaining comic book that deserves to find an audience during its uproariousrampage. Recommended.' - Unleash The Fanboy

"While there's nothing entirety new narrative wise with Clown Fatale there is a lot of over the top graphic, balls-out fun that makes me grin and sometime that's all you really need. Man I love these clowns." - Comic Bastards

Kiss Me, Satan #5

"Well worth a look, and based on this issue, Ferreyra continues his rapid ascent up my favourite artist list. Just a stunning piece of work." - Big Comic Page

"It'll be interesting to see if Dark Horse launches this as a full blown series. Although this inaugural run felt rushed (and at times uneven) there's no doubt that there's a lot of possibility inherent in this title." - Unleash the Fanboy

S.H.O.O.T. First #4

"S.H.O.O.T. First is a fun story that balances both quirky fun and an understated story about religion all rolled up in a monster fighting comic series. There is something in this series for everyone." - All Comic

"Overall Aclin and Selma have created a terrific conclusion for this series and I for one have been amazed with the entire story. I also can't wait to see what Aclin has in store when S.H.O.O.T. First returns in the pages of Dark Horse Presents #35 but until then I'd highly recommend giving this mini-series and more importantly this issue a read." -Unleash the Fanboy

Skyman #1

"Very solid introduction from Skyman bringing him back into a forefront of the superhero world. The Skyman Program needed a new face for their initiative and this is a character that you can attach yourself to." - Geeked Out Nation

"If you're liking Captain Midnight, you're going to love Skyman. Fialkov has set up an interesting character thrown into even more interesting circumstances. Dark Horse has really done something brilliant with their new superhero comics, and this one is another feather in their hat." - Comic Book Therapy

Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Cry of Shadows #2

"It's something that even non-Star Wars fans can enjoy because that's how fantastic the storytelling is. This here people is what we call on the site "the reason you read comic books." It's also one of the reasons I'll miss Star Wars under Dark Horse's supervision." - Comic Bastards

"The artwork is large, colourful and typical of many mainstream comics, but writer Tim Siedell brings a little more depth to the story telling in this one. That's why I'm reading it, and that's why I'm doing this review." - Geeked Out Nation

Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi—Force War #3

"Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi " Force War #3 with a quality team at its back earns gleeful praise andstrong recognition as it comes highly recommended." - Unleash the Fanboy

The Strain: The Fall #7

"Overall, this is probably the best issue of the series, and the one that is fast paced. Leading into the finale strong, let's just hope that we get all of the questions answered while still leaving us enough for the next series. If you are a fan of the book or this comic, you should definitely pick this issue up. It is currently available where comics are sold." - Geeked Out Nation

"Every time I read The Strain, I am sickened and entertained. It crawls on you giving an uneasy feeling, but it also works with you that you keep turning the pages." - Comic Bastards

X #9

"X has fluctuated some from issue to issue but #9 has easily been one Swierczynski and Nguyen's strongest and the new twist on X's mental make-up and those he hunts down is a great new dynamic that makes it's way to the forefront. X is on the right track and gets better each issue. Fans of edgy and graphic storytelling should be picking up this book but look a little deeper and you'll see there's much more to discover." - Unleash the Fanboy
