Dark Horse Comics has recognized that, announcing that they will be releasing a collection of her series Helmetgirls. The series focuses on a group of young women whose personalities are expressed through giant, adorned helmets that they wear at all times.

ON SALE THIS WEEK IN REVIEWS

Billy the Kid’s Old Timey Oddities and the Orm of Loch Ness #3

If you like mash ups, weird monsters, or Billy the Kid being awesome, then this book is for you. And even if you’re not sure if you like those things, give this one a shot. It’s fun and creepy all at once. Good stuff." - Rockin' Comics

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 #16

"With a new ally in the group, it’s time for the book to put the focus back on Buffy.  While there are plenty of new faces, the book has a back to basics feel that long time fans can’t help but love.' - Comic Book Therapy

"If you haven’t picked up Buffy yet, this is a good point to show up. It’s the start of a new arc, and all the previous arcs will be out soon (if not already) in trades soon. Don’t have them? Ask for them for Christmas! It’s only 2 weeks away! But if you are a BtVS fan, this is definitely an issue that brings it back to its roots." - Comic Booked

Conan the Barbarian #11

"Yes, I love seeing Conan decapitate armies and fight dragons and take on hot girls that turn out to be ugly otherworldly creatures, but this was something BRAND NEW for a character with such a long history. Wood really moves the character forward and in a new direction here." - Geeks of Doom

"This ongoing is the Conan comic for those who never considered themselves Conan fans — and has the potential to turn them, by Crom." - Multiversity

Criminal Macabre: Final Night—The 30 Days of Night Crossover #1

"All in all, this mini-series could mean the end or beginning of a title or character(s) but either way, we the fans win no matter what. I highly recommend that if you haven’t checked out either 30 Days of Night orCriminal Macabre that you go and get everything you can get your hands on because both books are amazing and when you’re reading this series, you aren’t sitting there scratching your head wondering what the hell they’re talking about when someone references something that happened in a prior story." - Geeks of Doom

"While being quite accessible to newcomers, “Criminal Macabre/30 Days of Night: Final Night” #1 also establishes how the stakes are personal to longtime readers. Eben and his army of nasty vampires from “30 Days of Night” fit seamlessly into the “Criminal Macabre” world. Fans of both series are really going to enjoy watching them clash. It’s a shame one of these books will be ending." - Bloody-Disgusting

Ex Sanguine #3

"The artwork is great, and the dynamic between the two leads is improving, making this a horror series that should definitely be looked at. There’s vampires, murder and love, all in the same book. What’s not to enjoy?" - Digital Noob / EGM Now

"Only two issues remain for this series, so jump on board and enjoy the fun and mystery that Ex Sanguine has to offer." - Comic Bastards

The Massive #7

"The Massive has been one of my favorite books of the year - one that I look forward to each month. It's just really damn engrossing." - Crave Online

"The Massive is continuing its run of being an interesting and captivating story full of terrific characters and a story that is incredibly unique. The trials of the crew don’t always excite, but there is always a reason to keep reading. The artwork is solid, though the detail work is lacking in regards to the usual style a bit in this issue, but there is no question that this is a great series, and has continued along this line in the first portion of the “Subcontinental” story arc." - Digital Noob / EGM Now

Orchid #11

"Inspirational and maddening at the same time, Orchid is perfection. Tom Morello’s writing is awe-inspiring and the artwork of Scott Hepburn is breathtaking. Orchid has come together flawlessly and I have no doubt that the final issue will be the pièce de résistance!" - BAMFAS

"I can honestly say this is a series worth picking up and adding to your collection, and will hopefully be the first of many series exploring this medium of expression for a powerful voice of our generation.  All that’s left is to wait with anticipation for the epic finale of the series, at least I know I will be." - The Pullbox

Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith—Spiral #5

"It’s a twist on the traditional Sith because these Sith have nowhere to go.  They have to adapt to survive.  While he didn’t create the Lost Tribe, Miller has richly added to their lore.  The Spiral series is another satisfying Miller contribution." - Roqoo Depot

"Miller does a great job of writing these characters and putting his unique spin on the Sith.  His writing strikes a good balance between the funnier elements of the story and the action without losing any of the dramatic tension." - EU Cantina

The Strain #9

"This is, possibly, the most enjoyable issue of the series. The story is past the set-up and the protagonists are finally starting to take charge. They're even starting to gain competent allies. The art works with the story, even if it wouldn't be enjoyable by itself. The cover is disturbing." - Technorati

“The Strain” #9 moves at breakneck speed as the narration jumps from one protagonist to another. Even if you have read the novel, Lapham’s adaptation offers enough differences to keep you intrigued. With just two issues left, all the threads are tying together nicely." - Bloody Disgusting

To Hell You Ride #1

"The messages and messengers are clear in To Hell You Ride, and the horror is that so many characters refuse to heed them: death, greed, environmental and spiritual devastation. The symbolism is especially poignant in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the BP Oil arraignment, and the tumultuous political sphere of our past Presidential election." - FearNet

"It’s going to get bad and people are going to die. I’ve got to know where this is heading. Only one thing is for sure: The past is a bitch and it’s riding a horse." - SciFi Pulse

"While looking for something new on the stands, I came across To Hell You Ride #1. Admiring the cover and curious by the title, I decided to give it a try..Talk about rolling the dice and coming up a winner!" -iFanboy
