"Dancy and this world may come from Kiernan’s prose work, but it’s not necessary to have familiarity with those stories in order to enjoy this comic, which is shaping up to be another great psychological horror story in Dark Horse’s stable of comics. The journey that Dancy must take in Alabaster: Wolves is a long and lonely one. You should join her on it." - Newsarama
"Overall, it's a really good beginning - one that can probably be ascribed to an author adapting her own work to a different medium, knowing how to get the essentials out there to keep readers hooked. Alabaster: Wolves is a five issue series, likely adapting each one of the short stories in the original book. Hopefully, they hang well together as one full tale, and even if they don't, well, Dancy's had her one chance, and she certainly didn't let us down." - Crave Online
"It's gentle and horrific and apocalyptic all at once. Good writing. Good pencil and ink work. Good colors. That's a good comic." - Comics Alliance
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 #8
"Spike and Buffy have another heartfelt moment that touches once more on the issues that Imentioned were coming to a head in the last issue. Meanwhile back at Dawn and Xander’s place Detective Dowling comes a-knocking as the Zompire plot continues to brew. Finally, given the ending of this issue, #9 promises to be very intense. I’m sitting on edge already." - Comic Booked
"Pandering so beautifully to the Geek fanss of the series, with its countless little references and jokes, as well as really returning the supporting cast to the series, Buffy #8 is a truly fun read. Throw in a little bit of implied nudity, funny jokes, and good art, you create an issue of Buffy that even non-Buffy fans might want to pick up. Buffy season 9 #8 is a great read, well deserving of the 8 out of 10 we are giving it." - Speak Geeky To Me
"Whoever the artist is, I want more. More of this story. More of the story Brian Wood is telling. This is no longer Robert E. Howard's Conan, this is Brian Wood's Conan. And it is good." -Comics Bulletin
"You REALLY can’t go wrong with this comic!!! A rare third issue that you can read and enjoy without having picked up the first two. If you’re looking for some Conan that’s not so barbaric, here’s your chance to jump on board. An extremely pleasant surprise. Pick it up, NOW!" - Geeks of Doom
"If this were a TV show people would be yelling from the rafters about how it’s the new Firefly, but instead it seems to be overlooked for the most part and that’s a damn shame. The series ends with the perfect set up for the next chapter and hopefully people will go back and check out the series so we get that next chunk of the story. Like I’ve said from the beginning it’s worth checking out." - Comic Bastards
"A good series that keeps threatening to be great, that is still better than a lot of other series!" - Comic Buzz
Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand #4'
"With only one issue to go before the series is over, all that’s left is to punish the villains, reward the hero, and resolve Lobster and Cindy’s sexual tension. Only then will order be restored. 4/5" - Daily Blam
"Zonjic has been my reason for purchase. He's been top notch throughout, and it makes sense if only because he's such a great fit for the style of the book. They couldn't pick a better person for a Lobster Johnson mini-series." - Multiversity
"Every month I read Orchid thinking it has to have reached its peak or at least plateaued, but it never fails, every month I’m blown away at how amazing it really is. It just continues to get better, which is insane because it’s unbelievable to begin with." - BAMFAS
"With plenty of action and the theme of overcoming the odds, this issue of Orchid reads like a great movie, granted one that would receive an R rating. It also heralds the arrival of robotic gargoyles." - Daily Blam
Star Wars: Agent of the Empire—Iron Eclipse #5
"This is the near perfect ending to an outstanding Star Wars mini-series...The artwork is excellent and the writing is off the charts. Cross is a complex character that deals with an ever increasing amount of adversity. Even the villain is given some great dialogue. And the fate of one particular droid is suspenseful and high in emotion. Forget Star Wars, this is just a great story." - Technorati
"As for the Iron Eclipse arc as a whole, I can easily say this is one of the best Star Wars comics I’ve read in a while. The Legacy series was definitely good, but there’s something about Agent of the Empire that is just more enjoyable. It combines the fun aspect that Knights of the Old Republic was able to bring to the table, with some stellar artwork. I really hope they keep the team together for this one in future arcs, because these guys are pushing out some great stuff." - Roqoo Depot
"This likely isn't the last we'll see of Cross as Dark Horse clearly has future plans for the character based on the final panel of "Star Wars: Agent of the Empire -- Iron Eclipse" #5; I just hope John Ostrander is included in those plans. If he wants to bring along Han Solo again, that'd be even better." - Comic Book Resources
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic—War #4
"Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic War #4 is a building block in the series, leading up to the finalinstallment in issue #5 next month as this mini saga comes to a close. The tension between Zayne in Kace in the race to save Dantooine really gets some momentum and we learn about the madness behind Zayne’s methods in greater detail. Is he a brilliant strategist or just a really really lucky guy? You’ll see as it unfolds in this issue." - BAMFAS
"Like Macguyver eschewing violence, Carrick has to be creative with his self-imposed limitations and the fact that he’s a jinx to achieve his ends while trapped between two armies, and that keeps this Star Wars adventure fun and unpredictable. This power droid gives another thumbs-up!" - Big Shiny Robot
