Hello Dark Horse fans!
Tuesday has come! It's a new week! And we've had quite the smattering of announcements over the past seven days, here's your chance to play catch up! If you've got five minutes, I've got some awesome news to share with you!
Free Comic Book Day
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past ten years, you know that Free Comic Book Day is the first Saturday in May (since 2002). Dark Horse Comics had some excellent titles to share with the world, including a Baltimore/Criminal Macabre flipbook, along with a Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender/Star Wars: Clone Wars book for our younger readers! These had huge amounts of draw in comic book stores across the nation and everyone was scrambling to pick up our books!
CBR was first on the scene with an interview with editor Dave Marshall about Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender ! Digital Spy tagged along picking up further coverage.
Our friends at Bloody-Disgusting.com got a fantastic interview with Steve Niles about his involvement with the Criminal Macabre free comic book. (It's audio! Just press play!)
USA Today put our free comic of Baltimore/Criminal Macabre in their #9 spot on their Top 10 list! And if you missed your chance to check out our books in your local comic book shop, you can download them free from Digital.Darkhorse.com! As seen on ComicsBeat!
Steve Niles & Criminal Macabre
Here at Dark Horse Comics, there's a title that brings us much pleasure to publish as our horror fans are eager for more. Criminal Macabre is back in action and the buzz is heavy! We've had creator Steve Niles working up a storm! At ComicBookResources.com they announced that Dark Horse Collects Niles' "Criminal Macabre" in Two Omnibus Editions as well as Criminal Macabre Comes to Dark Horse Presents ! These are big things for Criminal Macabre and we're excited to see them happen!
