Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
This episode has three things going for it: 1. It features the Shat in the staring role pre Captain Kirk days. 2. It plays on the fear and anxiety of flying. 3. They throw a Gremlin in the mix, which tries to take down the plane down, which in turn reinforces one’s fear of flying.
The Living Doll
Lets face it, there’s nothing creepier than a doll that talks or move by its own free will! It worked in Making Contact and Poltergeist. This story started it all, as Christie’s mean stepfather Eric does battle with young daughter’s demonic doll named Tina. “My name is Talky Tina, and I’m going to kill you”…Poor Eric.
The Hitchhiker
When a young woman decides to make the move west and drive cross country to California, she soon notices that she is being stalked by a hitchhiker who seems to know her every move before she makes it. She ultimately finds out that he is the ghost of a man who was killed in the same accident that claimed her.
To Serve Man
When an alien race called the Kanamits come to earth with a promise of a new era in humanity, as well as worldwide peace and prosperity for all, don’t be fooled. They have an ulterior motive. They want to eat you!
Eye of the Beholder
This story is told from a hospital bed as a woman is eagerly awaiting the results of her 11th reconstructive surgery, all to correct her badly disfigured face. The people around her are only shown from the waist up until the final scenes, when we see their faces, we learn who really has the problems.
