Daniel is one of the editors that recently got promoted here at Dark Horse Comics. Here’s what he’s excited about at Dark Horse right now!
I am super excited about a whole slew of original graphic novels coming out from Dark Horse this summer.
High Crimes by Christopher Sebela and Ibrahim Moustafa is one of the best crime comics I’ve ever read. Maybe the best one. A must-read book in an elegantly packaged deluxe hardcover.

Bowery Boys by Cory Levine, Ian Bertram, and Brent McKee! I edited this one, but I am really pumped to see what other folks think about it. The story and art are incredible. Definitely check this out if you’re a fan of Peaky Blinders! A brutal look at political corruption and street gangs in mid-nineteenth century New York.

Nanjing: The Burning City by Ethan Young. I have only seen a few pages of this graphic novel, but what I’ve seen so far has been brilliant and haunting.

And in September The New Deal by Jonathan Case looks amazing. I worked with Jonathan on The Creep, a graphic novel written by John Arcudi, and his art blows me away. I can’t wait to read this book written and drawn by Jonathan.
