"If a comic's greatness can be judged purely on the virtue of its entertainment value (which, in most cases, should probably be the case), then Axe Cop is one of the greatest comics ever conceived." - Adventures in Poor Taste
"Axe Cop: The American Choppers is a fun book, that pushes the imagination, and it is filled great art that matches the craziness that is Axe Cop." - Comic Bastards
"Overall I love this comic and I will always love this series...A tyrannosaurus rex with sweet sunglasses and machineguns for arms that simply can not be stopped." - Capeless Crusader
"Oh, hell. Forget everything even remotely negative I said in this review. Go buy “Axe Cop: American Choppers” #1 now so we can pay for Malachai's Harvard tuition and make him president." - Multiversity Comics
"The stream-of-consciousness approach and hyper-violence are great, and the comic is genuinely funny, not just silly. The idea of a world called Captain Planet where all the captains of pop culture dwell is particularly inspired. Bring on more Axe Cop!" - IGN
"I couldn't be more excited for the continuation of the series and I can only assume that this is going to be a case of the first issue getting lost among characters and origins. Axe Cop is a series that can literally go in any direction and is limited only by imagination. Which, in the case of a now 10-year-old Malachai, is essentially limitless." - We The Nerdy
"While not one for everyone, it's definitely one for everyone with a sense of humour – not to mention fans of Adult Swim – as it has a very “this is actually for adults, but we're pretty sure kids will enjoy it as well” feel to it. Go buy this book, go on, tell them we sent you or I'll find you with my axe." - Big Comic Page
President of the World Axe Cop reunites with Super Axe, an old friend from college, and the two of them decide to start a superteam of axe-wielding heroes to defend America, called the American Choppers. They are joined by Captain Axe, Axe Girl, Axe Woman, Axe Dog, and other axe-wielding heroes. The only problem is that there are no bad guys left, but that all changes when mysterious giant creatures attack the city!"If a comic's greatness can be judged purely on the virtue of its entertainment value (which, in most cases, should probably be the case), then Axe Cop is one of the greatest comics ever conceived." - Adventures in Poor Taste
