The webcomic about a axe-wielding cop and his bevy of bizarre and truly awesome friends that took the internet by storm in 2010 is set to lay down the law on the print medium by teaming with Dark Horse Comics. Written by the 5-year-old Malachai Nicolle and illustrated by his 29-year-old brother Ethan Nicolle, the online adventures of Axe Cop will be collected by Dark Horse for a December release and followed up in Spring of 2011 by a three-issue full-color miniseries involving a time travel story that only the team behind Axe Cop could tell. Comic readers, get ready to have your heads chopped off all over again!
Attendees of San Diego Comic-Con International should keep an eye out for a special “Axe Can” comic from the Brothers Nicolle!
"Comic Con would be awesome if it was Axe Cop Comic Con," Malachai Nicolle said.
“This is my first SDCC since Axe Cop took over my life,” Ethan Nicolle commented. “I have no idea what to expect, but I'm super excited to be with Dark Horse, the publisher who makes some of my favorite comics in existence.”
