As I promised last month, I'll spare you further reminisces about what has transpired during the past decade and take a look ahead at what Dark Horse has coming your way in the near future. In no particular order:

* Sure, it's been a long time coming, but you don't rush perfection. What am I talking about? Why, Arthur Adams' Monkeyman & O'Brien, of course! Join Axwell Tiberius (the world's smartest gorilla) and Ann O'Brien (the world's strongest woman) as they hop dimensions, battle monsters, and save the world the way most folks go to work each day. Another gem in the Legend crown!

* Blanc Noir is a new imprint featuring the works of the wild men at Atlanta's famed Gaijin Studios. Beginning in August with Jason Pearson's Body Bags, five new, consecutive miniseries are planned, including The Heretic by Joseph Phillips and Richard DiLeonardo, Brave by Cully Hamner, Maximum Velocity by Brian Stelfreeze and Karl Story, and No One by Adam Hughes. The excitement begins in August and lasts well into next summer.

* Based on the events in Daiei's recent hit movie, Gamera: The Guardian of the Universe rockets your way in August, bringing you the giant flying turtle action you've been craving! Like Aliens, Predator, Star Wars, and a host of others, Gamera receives the famous Dark Horse movie-to-comic treatment, this time courtesy of writer Dave Chipps, penciller Mozart Couto, and inker Mike Sellers.

* Dark Horse's Jonny Quest comics series is set to coincide with the debut of Hanna-Barbera's new animated television series. Jonny, Dr. Quest, Race Bannon, Hadji, and Bandit return in new reality- (and virtual-reality-) based adventures. Written by Kate Worley and illustrated by Francisco Solano-Lopez, the series debuts in September.

So, the future is bright -- and getting brighter, as you'll see when I cover four more upcoming projects, next month.
