Somewhere out there on the lonesome highways lies a forgotten two-lane blacktop where small towns fade into oblivion and just over the horizon's edge, you can hear the sound of the world's end. It is here that Jim Kowalski rides his diesel rig into the night. He has seen the darkness that would chill men's hearts. He knows of the things mortal men need never know.
