It's a pretty normal job for Chicago's hottest bounty hunter, Rally Vincent and her sidekick Minnie-May: stake out the house of television magician Mr. Smart, who jumped bail after a traffic accident. Maybe if Rally hadn't been having all these dreams about her missing father whom she loved and whom her mother had hated, she'd be feeling fine. But when it turns out that Smart's wife has set him up with the help of her conniving lawyer-lover, things start getting messy.
