Ten months ago a satellite collided with Tokyo -- but Chiaki doesn't remember that. And she doesn't remember that the satellite was a living, alien creature, or that it stopped time and toyed with her and the other two citizens who remained in the city. But of all the things Chiaki doesn't remember, of all the amazing things she's experienced in the last three-hundred-and-some odd days, the one thing you'd think she'd be able to recall is . . . she's dead.
