Hap and Eiko set out to Lake Torrens, Australia, to trace the latest sighting of the strange creature that has disappeared with Eiko's father. They aren't the only ones interested in this biotechnological organism, however. A mysterious organization is following all the proceedings -- and has its own plans for this new form of life!
