After last issue's bloody surprises and frightening, new terrors, Claire and Janet follow a mysterious lawman away from the gore-filled plantation house to seek advice from a strange, obsessive-compulsive hermit. While they can't leave their friends (or what's left of them) behind for long, this may be their only chance at escape. Or maybe they'll just find a quick death, if they're lucky.
