Quinlan Vos is looking for his missing Padawan, Aayla. Unfortunately, she has fallen in with some bad company -- namely a vampiric dark Jedi name Karkko. To make things worse they are all trapped on a lawless prison planet crawling with mutant vampire-like aliens. Quin's pal Villie has a plan to get them off the planet but it doesn't include rescuing Aayla. That's something that Quin won't consider.
