Learn how to play Lancer, the hit sci-fi, Mud-and-Lasers tabletop roleplaying game about giant robot mechs and their pilots—Lancers, with this pair of structured story missions, written and designed by Kai Tave. These modules introduce new players and game masters (GMs) to the game and familiarize them with its blend of tactical combat and narrative challenges.

Operation Solstice Rain takes characters from License Level (LL) 0 to LL 2 across two missions of pitched urban combat in the city of Nov Elysia. As a squad of rookie Union mech pilots, the player characters (PCs) undertake a rescue operation amidst a burgeoning conflict between the Leandric States Alliance and the Vestan Sovereignty. Though this may be their first time in combat, they’ll need to use every bit of their training and push their mechs to the limit if they want to survive!

Operation Winter Scar guides characters all the way to LL 4 across two more missions, pitting the now-seasoned pilots against the Vestan Sovereignty Armed Forces. From advanced combat chassis to main battle tanks, the Sovereignty will stop at nothing in their efforts to push the pilots back!

Operation Solstice Rain and Operation Winter Scar are packed with extensive tactical advice to help new GMs learn the ropes.

Both narrative modules include six combat scenes, and each scene is accompanied by an illustrated tactical map. They also contain new player options suitable for any Lancer campaign, including new mechs, talents, gear, and more!
